Yes, self-employment can be considered. You have to provide Statuary Declaration.

Hi

I am Confused about Proving my Self Employment Years as well,I have been Self - Employed in UK from July 2011 - Aug 2013.I have following Documents

- Incorporation Certificate
- Corporate Tax Returns
- Share Certificates
- Self Employment Tax Returns
- Accountants Reference Letter

and all can be confirmed from Government Website,If I share my Company Code,It will clearly show my name, year of Birth,Nationality,Position held, all of the companies documents filed, except my self employment tax returns.

I am really struggling to get References from my clients,as I left UK in 2014 and moved back home, and its been a while since I have contacted them.People have mentioned Statutory declarations here,I have a little Idea its like a legal document where some declaration is made and Notarized by a Solicitor. My Questions are

1. I have now moved back home ,Is it necessary that I have that notarized from UK?

2. What should be the format / written of/in It?

3. Is there any possible way I can avoid the hassle of contacting each and every client and get the references from them?

Your Help would be highly appreciated.
