Hi All,

This is my friend's case, he is on a student dependent visa, and as per the rules he can legally work full time during the time the student is studying her course. However, in this scenario, if she wishes to take a semester break and this means she has to fly back to her home country. What would happen to my friend's visa ? Please help us out in this scenario.

Thanks in Advance.

I guess no. Just a guess but this would be a major loophole in visa rights so it will not be allowed.

Students are required to leave the country only if their break is for more than 6 months. Otherwise they can stay and work full time.
