Hi fellow expats

I've just had a (rare :D) brainwave. Have hit a bit of a brick wall on the 'transport of the four felines to the UK in January' issue. Companies I've contacted to ship them over land either have unsuitable dates (way too late) or will charge over 2k euro for the privilege. I'm not going to take the risk of air travel, it's not worth it.

So, my thought is to bring them by train to Calais, deposit them in a cattery while I nip over to the UK, hire a vehicle and come back to collect them ASAP.

Any thoughts on the feasibility of this plan, ideas for catteries in Calais or indeed the contact details for a good shrink  would be much appreciated.

Merci d'avance

If you can cope with getting them as far as Calais by train, why not just continue on the Shuttle with them?
