Hi,

I moved to France a year before. I came with my wife and my son who is 2 years old at the same time on 1 year long term visa which was renewed this year. For my son I got the DECM card also. I applied for the CAF last year and they ask me to get the prefectoral attestation "Demande d'attestation prefectorale pour obtention des droits aux prestations familialies". I sent the documents required for attestaion but no response.
Any suggestions here.

How long ago did you send the documents in to the prefecture? It might be worthwhile to pay a visit to the préfecture to ask about the progress of your documents or if there is any question or problem with them.
