Not a fan of Eastlink... horrid service.
My parents have their t.v. service with Eastlink in the Metro Vancouver area as the municipality that they live in still has a "local" cable company (i.e. an independent provider in addition to those listed in #2) and they were bought out by Eastlink.
Would recommend looking at all of the big name guys and comparing prices and going from there.
