Business Advice?

796 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Bevdeforges
So, I'm trying to set up a small business entity here in France, and am just running into a lot of confusing obstacles.

I'm trying to set up a very basic business where I can earn money (probably more than the auto-entrepreneur 32k/year) and pay in to the Sécu. I do the work out of my home. It is service-based, Artisian.

Is the best way to go a EI? Or do I have to go with something like an EURL? I'm just really confused at this point.

Thanks!
Aaron

Do you speak French? There's a ton of info available about the different options. And the people at the Chamber of Commerce were very helpful when I went there.
You should be able to set up an appointment to clarify your doubts.

I don't...at least not very well. My wife does, so perhaps an appointment at the Chamber of Commerce with her as well would be helpful...thanks for the suggestion.

Either the local Chambre de Commerce or take a look at the APCE website Accueil - APCE, agence pour la création d'entreprises, création d'entreprise, créer sa société,l'auto-entrepreneur, autoentrepreneur, auto-entrepreneur, auto entrepreneur, lautoentrepreneur, reprendre une entreprise, aides à  la création d'entreprise (ask your wife to help you navigate it a bit). APCE is a government agency for the creation of new business enterprises. They have quite a few programs to help you decide which business form to go for and other useful information.
Cheers,
Bev
