Hi everyone,

My PSW visa will be expired by the end of this month, I am planning to apply another student visa. Now I am choosing some courses and/or degree, but I am not sure which start date is better.

If I choose a master degree that commences next year, will I get a bridging visa with working right lasts for 3-4 months?

Or should I choose some courses immediately starts during October?

(I am currently in Australia.)

I will be really appreciated if I can get your advice. Thanks!

According to the information provided on immigration website; a bridging visa should be valid till a decision is made on your visa application; irrespective of when the course commences. However, you should contact DIBP to better understand the situation.
