Hi!

I'm a first time poster -- long time lurker -- to the forum.

After marrying in NYC in May, my wife and I are getting through the minefield that is the UK spouse visa process and would just like some sort of confirmation about the Biometrics appointment.

She has booked hers in USA for a couple of weeks time and the confirmation email says she is required to bring her application and supporting documents. But elsewhere it makes no mention of the supporting documents being required at this time.

Could somebody please advise whether we are right in thinking the supporting documents are not required at this point?

Thanks!

For US applicants, you only need your passport and appointment confirmation for biometrics. You get the appointment sheet stamped, which you put on top of your supporting documents and send the parcel off to Sheffield yourself.
