Bank balance

Thanks for the reply ozdreamz. How long ago did you make the move? Yes we were looking at 176 in w.a and we have had contact with a couple of agents which one f them said we did need to say we had about £25k in the bank but don't necessarily need to have that much as they don't really check! Which we thought maybe a little risky!
Don't suppose you know any carpet fitters that could give any advice? Have asked a few times on here but no one seemed to want to talk to me!

Many thanks for your reply shel. So the best case would be to have work lined up for when we get there the thing obviously with carpet fitters is they're self employed so it might not be too bad as I suppose I could either go round neighbourhoods with flyers etc or is that sort of thing not done?

Have you made the move over yet? How long did it take you to save up the money to get over? We are almost starting from scratch as we basically have no equity in our property!

I am so sorry to here that:-( keep up the positive attitude, many people would not! Hopefully they won't change the rules too much. Where abouts were you staying? And from what you saw, is it what you were expecting? At this moment in time we haven't set foot on aus soil, yet some how we know it is what we want!, ( we is myself, wife and three children)

We would have loved to have gone to qld but floor finisher is not needed over there:-( so currently looking at west aus not wanting to be near a city though! Being from Norfolk there are lots of villages nearby, would love to find a small neighbourhood to move to. about going over to visit, again it comes down to money!
