I assume you are asking for 176 application. For state sponsorship you need to show funds with you which you can use for your settlement in the state. There are guidelines for how much that amount should be on the respective state sponsorship websites.
Some states may ask for proofs for the funds you declare. However, WA didnt ask me for the proof of the funds ($60K) that I declared as the funds that I'll bring with me.
For 175, you dont need to declare any funds that you are bringing with you. All it says is that you should have sufficient money for you to settle in Australia.
