I am an electrical engineer from India working in Saudi Arabia for the past 4 and a half years.I am having 60 points for 189 and 65 points for 190. Kindly advise me if i should apply for Australian PR from India or Saudi Arabia in order to get the Visa earlier.

Points requirement is that of the DIBP; and not of the skills assessment authority like EA. They will provide you with relevant skills assessment even if you do not have the required points.OK. Thank you. I will follow that. Need one more information. I have a total of 8 years and 6 months experience in electrical engineering field. During skill assessment process will Engineers Australia deduct 2 or more years from my experience? In other way i need to know whether engineers Australia will do skill assessment only if we have 60 points. Please clarify.
