Hi,

Me and my partner consider to move to the UK. I have German and Australian citizenship. My partner has Australian.
What would be the best way? Can we apply for an EEA family permit beforehand or should we travel to UK, my partner entering on her Australian passport and then apply for a UK Residence card in the UK?

What would be the recommended / easiest way? I read somewhere that I would need to proof employment evidence etc.

Get EEA family permit before travelling to UK, and then once you start exercising treaty right by working, for example, apply for residence card.
