Hi All,

I am trying to list down steps involved to get Australian PR.

As per my understanding, the steps would be like following -

1. Skill Assessment (ACS)
2. PTE
3. EOI, Expression of Interest.
4. EOI update (optional)
5. Receive Invitation to apply
==> 60 days time to apply for VISA
6. Apply for Australian Visa online and upload documents.
7. Have your medicals done
8. Have your PCC done
==> Medical and PCC should be done and uploaded within 30 days of VISA application uploading ??
9. CO contact
10. Australian High Commission call ??
11. Get the Grant Letter
12. DO entry before Initial Entry Date - how Initial Entry date being calculated ??

Please clarify/add, if I have missed something.

Thanks !!

I have been following your several posts on the forum

PR application is a money guzzling exercise
You should be prepared to spend upto 10K AUD by the time you get the PR in hand
For a family of 3
There will be several unforeseen expenses on the way

Pleas evaluate if you can earmark those funds
Moreover getting a job after PR is also not an easy task
You may have to spend upto an year in Australia in applying before you succeed

That is another 20k AUD

It's a good thing that you are looking for the cheapest options in the services you need, but that does not always work in the case of immigration
You have to employ the best agencies as time is also a factor

Take a hard look at your finances and prospects before really starting down the road

Your list is exhaustive but does not take into account that you may have to give multiple tests in PTE if you don't get the desired results
You may also have to spend on tuitions or books or paid subscription for the same
Medicals are also tricky.
In case any problem is detected. You may have to undergo specific additional tests which may be quite costly

Cheers

But still we all always look for saving money and I am doing the same !!

Could you please review above steps and add/modify if required.

Thanks !!!

Your steps are all correct
Nothing missing
Points 7&8 can be done even before you submit the visa and it is recommend that you upload it up front with the application

12 . You IED will be before the last day when your pcc or medical expire, whichever is earlier

Cheers
