My sister is applying for a PR and she is in the stage of VETASSESS assessment. The company she works for got a call from the Australian embassy asking about my sister and if she works there. The only problem is that when the HR answered, he confirmed she worked there but when they asked about the job description it seems he was busy and asked to send him an email (he gave them the email) or call later.

My question is, is it normal that the Embassy calls the company? With regards to the HR's response, and given that the embassy didn't call back or send any email, is it a bad sign?
