My Canadian daughter is eligible for a British passport through me (her Dad) but I'm wondering if she can apply for a British passport whilst in the UK on a visitors visa?

I've searched for relevant information but have found nothing of use. Has anyone any pointers/advice?

Yes she can as long as she qualifies. Obviously she will need all relevant documentation regarding your and her birth circumstances.
