Does anyone know if I can get blanks for sublimation in France, maybe even a heat press and other items necessary for the process?
Maybe someone can recommend printing houses who do sublimation on metal plates also?

Where will you be located? These materials are available here, prices may vary from wherever you're coming from. Heat presse= presse à chaud

Zeke, TY so much! My French is not yet good enough to formulate my needs in the photographic community in France. I haven’t yet moved there, but in order to gauge if I should move my own studio with me, or simply buy the necessary equipment once I find a place, I had to do some initial research. You’ve been an excellent help with these links! TY again.

You're welcome! It's tough because these are all technical terms that don't translate well using common translating tools. You'll have to build up your vocabulary! If you're in the market for used gear sometimes I find there are more interesting offers on ebay Belgium for example. Or even Germany. The French market is kind of iffy. If you're ever interested in building out a dark room I might have some great pro gear to sell, medium and large format, cameras, jobo system, auto focus enlarger... but since you're searching for dye sub stuff you might have passed over to digital long ago. In general, all the big photo houses are in Paris. Grenoble seems to have some passionate folks. Good luck with preparing your move! Study your French!

Yep, all digital here, Fuji xt-2, speedlights, modifiers etc for lifestyle and portrait photography, plus making my own fine art prints on SureColor P800 - and slowly getting into sublimation on tile and metal as well.
So good to hear from a fellow photographer in France! I speak far better German at this point (I’m Danish-American) so maybe Germany could be the way to go. I’m happy you had time and were willing to answer! If you ever need a favor in return, don’t hesitate to ask. TY!
