Hi Guys,

I am worried as many of you are with 60 base points. I opted for NSW with 60 + 5 points but I personally don't have any hope. I got 10 points in english, may be because of this as I feel NSW likes 20 points.

Which state should I opt to get higher chances of selection?

Any advise or pointers are much appreciated.

On 26th June have applied to the 190 NSW with 60+5 points.
15 = Bachelor
15 = Work Exp
30 = Age
60 Points + 5 Nomination to NSW

You can try VIC. Also

You have to apply through EOI route only

NSW and VIC are the 2 states which have the maximum requirements for software engineers and hence the possibilities of SS

State sponsorship follows no fixed pattern and cannot be predicted

You have no option but to wait patiently or increase your score so that you don't need SS
