Hi all, me and my other half are looking to head over to dubai or AD in the next year, i am a barber and she is doing the course to teach english to kids as a second language, how difficult do you think it will be for us to find work? How does the cost of living balance out with the average income? Any and all advice and help is much appreciated

It all depends on what experiences you have and what education qualification you achieved.
I'm afraid I can't give you an advice however, for your information, salaries in AD is much higher than in Dubai and other cities.

Does your spouse have a degree and is getting this certification on top of? Due to the nature of dubai, most expats already speak english. Has your wife looked into job positions in the uae? There is a thread on the uae forum that was discussed quite a bit in the last few months. Please do a search for it in the uae forum and have a read.
