hi

dont u need 7 in all modules of ielts to apply for ss? i am not sure, but yes u need to show financial proofs to get positive assessment. it is 20 k for main applicant, 10k for every dependent. they ask for bank statements and want the money lying in the bank for atleast 3 months.

if u apply for 175 first and then change to 176 the ss application takes longer (see the act ss criteria) and if u have not applied for visa already the time they takes is lil less.

R u sure its 3 months for bank statement.?

if i get 2231-79(Oracle) it comes under csl, modl(corect me if im wrong) , wat do u suggest?
better to apply for 175 directly or ACT and 176?
im jus concerning abt the job opportunities in ACT...

tes i am sure 3 months, they basically want to see if you have had that money to make sure u have not borrowed it from someone just to file the application, they asked for our statements twice. once we gave an active balance statement for one account, they asked for 3 months statement again. it is best to give 3 mnths statement or if you can provide a statement from a chartered accountant stating your assets etc. but remember, they do not consiider jewelry as transferable asset, neither do they consider property as transferable asset.

if you do apply for ss from ACT, they will take 3 months for the sponsorship, my suggestion would be to apply for ss from ACT, after a week or so apply for the 175, i am not sure if this works, if u notice, the time period framed by them for application processing of 175 to 176 conversion is longer thn for those who have not applied for the visa already. on teh ACT site they have a timeline for application on extreme right, check which applicaitons are being processed right now, i think they are on June-July applications (175 to 176 applications).

CSL applicantions are taking about 3 months for a CO to be allocated ot their application, also, a new MODL is expected soon, I dont know if a new CSL is expected as well.

gather your documents, apply for both and wait and see, i dont suggest wasting time.

I think you should go for 175 for its freedom. SS is restrictive, as you well know. 175 CSL applications filed in June got COs within <6 months. Real good speed.

Yes but there is a slight bit of chance that the skill is taken off the CSL, in case it is then one is stuck.. if you are sure you do not want to settle anywhere but ACT then the ss is worth it..

ukv u get 176 if u get approval post informing them about ss. and the amount is 20k for main applicant and 10 k each dependent.
