Since September 2009, am working in a reputed Software company. My Pay role designation as “IT Analyst”. My designation in Project Role is "Business System Analyst".

On Mid Febuary 2015, I got a statutory declaration from a senior colleague, his designation is "Assistant Project Manager". At that time , I am unable to process ACS asssment.
On March end, a senior colleque who declare the statutory declaration left the company and joined new company.

Now Planning to do ACS Skill assesment for 261111 (Business Analyst / System Analyst).

My query are follws:
1. Can I use same statutory declaration for acs skill assessment ?.
2. Did ACS deduct any experience, since Qualification is MCA (2006-2009), BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MATHS (2003-2006) ?.

*My age is 29 years.
*IELTS 7 overall.

How much points i can achieve?

1 - You can use the same statutory declaration. BUT IF this is your Current Employment THEN it would be better IF you could get a New statutory declaration done.

2 - IF ACS considers your Bachelors degree as a Bachelor with ICT Major & Closely related to the nominated occupation THEN they will deduct 2 years of your experience

[As this 2 years work experience is required to meet the suitability criteria will NOT be included as “Skilled Employment” and NOT eligible for points]

For other possible combination refer to the following:

ACS | Summary of Criteria

Skills Assessment Guidelines for Applicants

Age - 30 points
English language competency level - 10 points (IF you have 7 in each component) ELSE 0 points
Overseas skilled employment - ??? More information required (provide exact dates of ALL your employments).
Educational qualifications - 15 points (IF ACS assesses your Degree as Bachelor with ICT Major)
State Sponsorship 190 - 5 points

Use attached sheet to calculate your points.

@Jeetan can you please guide me on following

I have a BS Computer Science (Hons.) and Master's in Software Engineering (Research based Degree).

1) Should i submit both for assessment or just Bachelor's Degree?

I have worked for 2 years and 8 months in an IT Company as a Software Developer but under different outsourced payroll system. So my employer asked me to get the experience letter from the outsourced company. However, i have decided that I will get a statutory declaration from my team lead or boss "with a proof of only last salary slip".

2) With my 2 years and 8 months experience can i get 5 points?
3) Do i really need to provide the first salary slip as well?

In my View:

1 - Yes you must submit both the Degrees for Assessment.

2 - Based on how your assessment goes, most probably ACS will deduct 2 years of your experience so that you meet the "SUITABILITY CRITERIA". So you might NOT get 5 points for experience.

3 - IDEALLY we should provide as much proofs as possible. Last 3 months Salary slips should suffice to prove your "Employment".

@ Jeetan First of all thank you very much for your reply :)

Clearly i can get a lot of guidance from this forum and guys like you.

Secondly, what is the minimum experience is required to get 5 points? Is it "3 years" ? I am short of 3-4 months :(

3 years of skilled experience is required.

For this you might need at-least 5 years of experience PROVIDED your Bachelor or Higher Degree is considered as ICT Major by ACS.

Read this for more details:

Hi,

I have competed by Bachelor's Degree from 2007-2011 and Master's Degree from 2011-2014 without any gap.

Meanwhile during my Master's degree i started working in February 2013 as a full time employee 40 hours a week in an IT company.

"I just read in some thread that experience with study is not counted at all"

My question is that "Will my work experience be considered/assessed as full time or part time? Or it won't be considered at all"?

Fingers crossed
Regards,

If you want your full experience to be considered, I suggest you not to mention about your masters. Only the experience after studies completion is calculated.

@funnybond4u Thank you very much :)

Lately, i have been reading a lot of blogs and doing R&D for PR. I need some sincere advise/suggestions on my following scenario.

I did my BS Computer Science 2007-2011, Master's Software Engineering 2011-June, 2014.
Job Started Software Developer 2013- Oct, 2015. Ph. D Started in 1st Nov, 2015 (Australia) and currently i am in contract with an IT company as a remote/freelance developer until April, 2016.
My total experience would be 3 plus years after April, 2016. If i go for first ACS assessment as you mentioned without declaring my Master's and get the positive skill assessment.

1) Can i later mention my Master's to DIAC? If i mention my Master's; Will DIAC consider my complete experience or they will deduct the work experience during my study time?

2) Any helping/reading material or link to understand how DIAC consider work experience ?

Regards,

My suggestion would be to avoid mentioning anything which would impact your point score. The points you get for bachelors and Masters is the same.
