Hi All,

I have a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Mechatronics Systems. I took a few IT subjects as electives and if just one mathematics subject is counted then my degree would meet the criteria for IT minor. So,
  1. Are mathematics subjects like Linear Algebra and Calculus considered to be IT related? (They are necessary subjects for IT majors as well)
  2. How do they assess that a subject is related to a certain occupation?
I have been working as a software engineer for close to 5 years in Australia. I would like to get my skill assessment done after completing 5 years of work experience, based on the following criteria (via the General Skills Pathway):

Note:
  • I have reached out to ACS via call and email but they have declined to give any further clarification, even minor ones.
  • I have spoken to a few popular MARA agents but have not received any clarification from them either.
If anyone has a positive skill assessment as IT Minor then I would be so grateful if you could kindly share which subjects you've had.

Thank you for your time and help.
