Hi All..
I'm planning to make my wife the main applicant since she has got a degree in computers. So before sending the application to ACS, I need to clarify some issues. I have read a lot abt statutor declaration and reference letters but still a bit confused :confused2:
My wife has got almost 6 years experience in I.T. The details are given below:
Company 1 - In INDIA[April 2004 - Aug 2008]:
9 months - Software Tester
2 years 7 months - Flash Developer
1 year 1 month - Flex + .Net Developer
Company 2 - In INDIA[Sept 2008 - Oct 2008]:
2 months - Flex Developer(Software engg)
Company 3 - In SINGAPORE[Nov 2008 - Jan 2009]:
3 months - Flex Developersys ans
Company 4 - In SINGAPORE[Feb 2009 - Oct 2009]:
9 months - Flex Developer
Company 5 - In SINGAPORE[Nov 2009 - Present]:
3 months - Flex Developerweb dev
For all the companies, we only have the experience certificate mentioning the dates and designation.
Since she has got more than 1 year experience in .Net in the 1st company, we are planning to highlight that for MODL. But the issue is, the experience certificate shows the designation as 'Flash Developer'. This happened because she was moved to the .Net team due to a shortage in resources. But we can get letters from her seniors(who are in a different company now) about the nature of work, roles and responsibilities etc.
Also, the old management has changed and its entirely a new team except 1-2 members. So getting the letter again from the company in letter-head will not be a possible task.
So here are my queries:
1. If we are getting reference letter from Seniors in plain A4 letter, should we provide a stat dec?
2. If in case stat dec is required, what are the procedures? we are currently employed and living in Singapore. Since the companies 1 and 2 is in India and 3 to 5 in Singapore, is there anything to be taken care of while doing the stat dec?
3. Since she has worked for more than 4 years in the 1st compny itself, should we provide the detailed roles and responsibilites for the companies 2-5 or just the experience certificate is enough? Also, if stat dec for these are required, can everything be written in one itself?
4. Hope colour scanned copies are enough instead of attested copies?
Sorry for the long mail
Thanks
Sunil
