Hi Guys,

Is it possible to be assessed under group C in ACS if you have completed your degree a while ago? Someone told me in another forum that to be in group C you need to be a "recent" graduate. I can't find such rule anywhere and always thought that group C is for Australian graduates with Bachelor and above in IT regardless when they graduate.

Cheers.

Yes, I am assessed under group C as Developer programmer. I completed my degree in July 2008 and since then acquired around one year of Australian experience as software developer. But you can also apply even if you don't have any relevant experience and same rules should apply as for fresh graduates.

Cheers,
Rohit
