Hi,

I have completed my Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Telecom and have 10+ yrs of software development experience in IP-Networking domain i.e switches and routers.

Should I get my skills accessed by ACS (since its a software exp) or Engineers Australia(since my engineering degree is in telecom and software exp is also in telecom) ?

Thanks in advance.

Go for ACS
EA will classify you as a technologist which is a very bad thing

Will ACS access my degree as well or only work experience ?
ACS assesses both your work experience and qualification.

Expect 4 years of deduction

You need this
acs.org.au/content/dam/acs/acs-skills/Skills%20Assessment%20Guidelines%20for%20Applicants%20-%20August%202017.pdf

acs.org.au/content/dam/acs/acs-skills/ANZSCO%20Code%20Information%20-%202017%20V4.pdf

Based on the occupation you select. The degree should contain at least 25% of ICT content (assuming 4 years degree).
