Considering the experience you both have, its not a big deal to cross the ACS hurdle, you can very well send the certification copies, however, thats not going to add any points. neither the ITIL nor prince 2.

The certification can help only if you are not in ict Major or Minor, and your job is in ICT, thats not the case for both of you

1. Your hubby has to clear ACS and PTE with 6 (not sure why you keep saying 6.5), and there is no relation between his occupation ceiling and him adding 5 points to your application.
2. Nowhere. Both have to be independent applications.
3. SkillSelect (see the 'Occupation ceilings' tab).
4. No.
5. No.

Hi KeeDa,

Thanks for your inputs.

1. We did check for point calculator @ ....killed-migration-points-test.....

Proficient English:
PTE Academic: 65+ in each component; (Sorry its my bad i mentioned 6.5 instead 65) to score 10 points for both for us

Partner Skill Qualifications
Check any boxes which apply to your partner or spouse
My partner is aged under 50 - Yes he is 39
My partner has competent English ability - We are planning to take PTE exam and score 65+
My partner can pass skills assessament in an occupation on the applicable Skilled Occupations List for my subclass - ??

3. I did check the link @ .... tab-content-3 .....
For this skills,
261311 - Analyst Programmer
261312 - Developer Programmer
261313 - software engineer

We see " 2613 Software and Applications Programmers*" 6202 / 2170 hence i am planning to choose either one skills to have highest ceiling. Any suggestions ??

I am not aware of PTE, but I checked: IELTS 6 equivalent in PTE would be 65. More details here: How can I prove I have competent English?

Clearly, you being the primary applicant for 189 with 5 points from your partner leads to 70 overall points as compared to the other option of 65 overall points. As for being on the same list, both your occupations are on the list for 189, so all good there, you will receive an invitation immediately in the next subsequent EOI round. For your reference, the said list is the MLTSSL published as 2.7 here: Migration (IMMI 17/072: Specification of Occupations and Assessing Authorities) Instrument 2017

Which among 261311, 312, or 313 to choose can be best assessed by you. I wrote a bit about this earlier today here: http://www.expatforum.com/expats/au...ion-select-skill-assessment.html#post13459586
