This post inspired by sandreepraj ( I think), who agreed to help people on IELTS writing portion. So if anyone need help on initial ACS documents check / RPL report validation or reference letter contents advice, Iam ready to help.

Kindly PM me if you need further help on these initial ACS documents. Even Iam busy, I will try to take out some time to look at your documents.

This forum has given us so much, I think its payback time to benefit other members :)

Hi imran,

Really great initiative.. Will really help ppl like me who are completely lost in the process.. :(

One quick question.. Is it compulsory to get reference letters from all our previous organizations in the company letter head or is there any way out..

Thanks,
Vinoth

Hi

As for ACS its better to get reference letters from all the previous companies, otherwise you can make a Statutory declaration (see one of the sticky threads on this topic)

For DIAC however in my opinion, its good to submit as much as docs possible like salary slips, tax returns, bank statements and so on

But since I am in the initial stage, I will not have to worry about DIAC.. right?

For ACS, is it required that we submit the reference letters in the company letterhead..

For statutory declaration, from the sticky thread,I assume company letter head is not required and its just enough if we get a reference from a former colleague..

Please correct me if I am wrong..

Hi Imran,

As I read in one of the threads in the forum, self declaration is not accepted anymore for ACS..

I am not able to get reference letter from my organization as well in company letter head..

So my option is to go for a statutory declaration from my supervisor..

My understanding is that, I will have to get my roles and responsibilities typed in a stamp paper, get it signed by my supervisor and then get it notarized..

Can you please share a sample declaration for the same

(Anj1976 has shared a format in the sticky thread- but its self declaration which I cannot use anymore..)

Hi reachsvinoth

Iam sure you can use the format shared by Anj. Just tweak a little bit the wordings to depict that your supervisor is making a declaration instead of you.

But Iam surprised what will happen if you cant reach your previous supervisor and he or she is in another country. Anyways I suggest you to confirm this again by sending email to ACS or through their website

Hi Seniors,

I am stuck terribly with this ACS.... I am not getting my reference letters from my existing and previous company from the HR... I have been trying for it, for almost three to four months now.
Is there any workaround for this. I have a whole list of documents that can prove that i worked in that company.... but not the reference letter.

Please help. Thanks a lot

Hi I have an Electrical engineering degree and 9+ years of experience. I got a mail from ACS
>>>
Your qualifications have been assessed as not meeting the ACS educational requirements for this application type.

We would like to provide you the opportunity to change your application type to an RPL application (Recognition of Prior Learning).
>>>

I had already given employer reference letters for each of the company and the experience was mentioned in detail (9 to 10 points in each letter). However, that include all the projects done and not one specific projects.

I am not sure if they are looking for any additional documents along with the RPL, or just filling the RPL form is enough. Can I give reference to the experience letters I have already submitted or do I need to submit additional reference letter from my supervisor for the projects that I mentioned in the RPL documents?

Please help.
