Hi Team

I have over 6 years of software experience but as I have worked in smaller start-ups my salary is very less and doesn't even qualify for Income Tax.

I have done my BE in Information Science and as per ACS guidelines it will deduct 2 years from my experience..

1) Will ACS deduct more years of experience because my salary is less?

Thanks in Advance

Deduction of work experience is not because of salary. First two years of career is considered as training period though you were getting paid.

Considering the fact you have 6 years of exp, 2 years of experience deduction will pull you down below 5, where in you cannot claim much points.

I would suggest to wait for one more year before applying unless you have points to be claimed from other factors.
