Hi Everyone,

I have ACS certification as Analyst Programmer for my Tertiary study in Australia and I will have 3 years experience in the next month.

The Experience is not assessed by ACS.

Do I need to get my experience assessed to provide a proof to immigration if I launch EOI.

I do have all the experience letters and other details available.

Any valuable suggestion is appreciated to clarify this.

Thanks
Ravi

yes, you need ACS assesment to start of, but if your total exp only 3 years then dont bother because ACS will deduct 2 years from your total exp if you work in the same field as your major.

example:
total exp: 5 years
ACS assesment = 5 - 2 = 3 years exp for claim points.

i hope that clears it.

Why will they deduct 2years when I did my majors in the same field in Australia?

Usually they deduct if the field of study is not in the same field.

Please Clarify.
