Hi,

1. Is employer reference from a senior colleague(in USA) is valid for Indian colleague. Am asking this because our company name is different. For ex. Google India Pvt Ltd (in India)and GOOGLE INC (in USA)

2. Is it OK to not give employer reference for the company in which my ROLES and Responsibility does not match at all with selected occupation. Am planning to just give the Experience Letter.

Thanks.

1. Yes, is okay as long as your colleague is the right person to write for you. Although it is pretty apparent, it won't harm if he mentions that the Pvt Ltd entity is a subsidiary of the Inc where he works at.

2. Experience letter alone won't provide info about your skills/ duties matching with your ANZSCO and this employment will therefore end up as "not related/ relevant" or "not assessed due to insufficient documentation" and you won't be able to claim points from it. The same will happen when you provide the RnR that does not match. So provide it or not, the outcome will be the same.

If understand correctly, you are planning to get a statutory declaration for RNR from a senior colleague based out of Google USA, whereas you are working in Google India

It no issue as long as the manager is actually involved in your day to day activities and is aware of your RNR and you are giving all true facts

Once you get the statutory declaration, you need not submit the google india reference letter
Just 1 of the 3 supporting documents required by ACS which is given in their website

But be warned that the immigration department will in all probability call up google india office to enquire about your RNR and if it does not match with what is written in the SD, you are likely to be refused a grant and ban from applying for 3 years

Don't take a hasty decision you will regret later
Cheers
