Hi , I have couple more questions:

1. I worked as a Helpdesk Analyst(technical support - more like a call center job) for 3 years and now i have been working as a Software Engineer for last 5 years.

Do you guys think my Helpdesk role will be considered in Software Engineer(If i look at the ANZSCO code information PDF - ICT Support Engineer is closely related to Software Engineering)

2. I won't be able to give any employer reference for my current job as all my colleagues are either in UK or USA and company HR has already denied such requests in the past for couple more people.
Can i ask Manager of another team to refer me?

What are my options in this case?

Thanks in advance:fingerscrossed:

I'll answer the 2nd question.

Firstly, Any manager can do the statutory declaration for you with your roles and responsibilities. It doesn't matter whether he has worked with you or not.
Secondly, please get a letter from your HR confirming your employment duly certified and signed in a company letter head. That will serve as a confirmation to the declaration that you work.

I disagree

Statutory declaration cannot be signed by any manager
The person signing the declaration has to certify that he was in regular interaction with you and is well aware of your RNR
How can a manager from anorher team certify the above ?

It has to be your team manager, lead or worst case colleague

Cheers

Really, some of the advice here is downright dangerous.....

The person need not be in india
He can issue the same from wherever he is in the world
He just has to get the declaration notarised locally and send you the scan
Your presence is not required and nor your signature

Hi,

Previous positive ACS assessment was System admin and want to apply now as ICT security specialists. All duties will remain same but will add my security duties in same companies which i forgot to mention before as its quite long since I left from there. Will that be an issue?

Thank you
Neha

You will be giving a fresh reference letter or statutory declaration?
