Hi freinds,

I know this question might have already asked couple of times on this forum.

I would like my freind who is Bechlore of Commerce & has 5+ yrs of Accounting experience. Which institution is ok for him to do the skills assesment?

CPAA/ICAA or NIA ??

Hi,

This is what the DIAC say "There are three assessing authorities for accounting professions in Australia. All three assessing authorities use similar criteria for assessment and you can select any of these three assessing authority to provide the assessment required for your migration application"....so he can choose which assessing body out of those three.

I am not sure if you still need the answer for this.

But a friend of mine who did not have an exact Accounting degree but he was a bachelors in business administration.

he wanted to have his skills assessed under Accountant. So he applied for PASA to NIA and he got REJECTED!!

THen he applied again to CPA and he got suitable assessment lol.
