My husband is in the process of preparing documents for our spouse visa and I am very thankful to the Forum for helping us sort through the myriad requirements of the visa. We are now preparing the documents for meeting the accommodation criterion. Our friends who have a freehold house have invited us to stay with them till we find a place of our own which will allow me the option of picking a place I like. Its a 3 bedroom house and the couple have a child older than 1 year.
In considering the requirements, I will be grateful if the Forum could let me know if the documents list that I have compiled is correct, so that we can get cracking on it.
1. Copy of property deed (signed by house owner / accountant? )
2. Invitation letter by house owner
3. Property inspection report ( we tried to get it done through the Surrey council and we called them too but they, unfortunately, were not able to provide one. We then contacted a private firm - Hussain architects (are they a credible?)
4. Utility bill
