I would like to know about the labour law in dubai. I am working in Dubai as archieve clerk for last 10 months. My Contract is limited, getting a very low salary of AED 2500/- per month (all inclusive) I have more than 15 years experience in accounting in India. But new to overseas. Now I am getting better offer like AED 5000 and more. If I resign my present job what will be the consequences I have to face. Is there any Ban.

7500 is not a high enough salary to lift the automatic labor ban imposed when you leave a company before 2 full years.

Hence, quitting your job at this stage will result in a 6 month labor ban.

Dude or dudette?, 2500 AED translates to roughly Rs 40 k.

If you really had more than 15 years experience you should've easily been pulling that range in India itself where the cost of living is nowhere near as absurdly high as Dubai allowing you to save and live with a reasonable lifestyle.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
