There is AARO for Americans looking for health insurance in France but is there something similar for Canadian citizens?

AARO membership is open to US citizens and those with significant ties to the US. If you've been living in the US for a while, you could join AARO and take advantage of their medical insurance plan.

Otherwise, you may want to contact the AARO insurance broker - who advertises on the AARO website on the right hand side of the pages on medical insurance. They handle insurance plans for other groups in Paris and can either point you toward a Canadian group or at least advise on what they have to offer you on an individual basis.

You may also want to consult the website for the Canadian consulate in Paris to see if they have a listing of Canadian expat associations in the Paris area.
Cheers,
Bev
