Hi,

I am aware of the fact that we need to show certain amount (probably 20,000 AUD) when we opt for State Sponsored visa. I want to ask that is there any state/territory that does not impose this rule? Or at least the amount to be shown is minimum?

Regards.

You dont have to show any thing for State Sponsorship except your Positive Assesment or may be IELTS. The money is for later stage and not need to be shown except when u travel to Aus.

I had to provide financial status for the VIC SS application. I am using an emigration service, and they asked me for it (had to provide financial statements) and included it in the sponsorship application. They recommended $50K AU minimum. I'm not sure if declaring your financial net worth is "required" for VIC SS, or if this emigration service just likes to include it to better a candidate's chances of approval.

I have not been asked for anything like this. You only have to write the amount in Visa application and to show only when u start journey to Australia.
