My occupation is available in SA for 489 vs TAS for 190.

I am confused as job prospects are more in SA while TAS is giving option for 190.

Which one should I opt for ?

I am not aware of that update, but you sure can try. If you have an official link from TAS about possibility of 190 without a job offer, please do share as well.

Thanks,

Read category 3A in 489

It states:
If your application is one of high calibre, and the Tasmanian Government is satisfied that you will be able to secure employment with ease due to your skills and previous work experience you may be invited to apply for the Subclass 190 - Skilled Nominated visa.

What's your occupation?
Tas 190 is flooding to TAS graduates...
It is really hard to get nominated if youre not under the TAS graduate stream..

But at EOI stage, you can apply for both states. When their invitations come down, then decide which one to file the visa application.
