Hi Friends

I have recently got my 457 application approved.

I need to understand below wrt visa granted to me.

1.) First question

8107- Work limitation: The visa held by the visa holder was granted either to allow them to be employed by a particular employer, or to undertake specific activities in Australia other than employment.

Does this mean I can't change job in australia....

2.) Second one...

8501 - Health cover: The visa holder must maintain adequate arrangements for health insurance during their stay in Australia.

Do I need to have any insurance before I enter australia...

thanks
J

1, You must be employed and working for at least the minimum wage allowed by DIAC for the employer the sponsored you.

You may look for work but the new employer must be willing and able to sponsor you and a new 457 must be lodged before you leave the employer who sponsored you and start work for the new employer.

2, You should have been required to take out health insurance to be granted the visa? You must hold valid insurance for the whole time you are in Australia. That is from the minute you land until the day you leave.
