hi i was just wondering how long you have to stay with a employer after your pr visa is granted
Depends on the type of PR. If its independent subclass of 189 or 190 then there is no such obligation but if its Employer sponsored visa of subclass 186 or 187 then you have to continue with same employer for atleast 2 years.

The two year obligation under the 186 visa is a moral obligation to the employer, who sponsored you for the visa and is the reason you are allowed to live in Australia in the first place. Quitting after a 186 visa is granted is considered bad form and can give you a bad reputation in your industry, not to mention the employer will be less likely to sponsor other 186s in the future.
