Hi guys,

Thought to seek expert opinion here on my current situation.

I am working for Company A in Melbourne and is in Australia since June 2014 (1 year) on 457 visa. Now, I got another good opportunity which I don't want to let-go and the new employer- Company B is ready to sponsor my 457. However, as per my initial discussion with Company B, I and my dependents need to re-go medical i.e. XRay which is the problem as my wife is currently 5 months pregnant and doctor has advised against X-Ray.

I would like to know - is it mandatory to go for medical again when we switch the job on 457 even though we were in the country. Is there anyway or exception to the process which I can use as I really don't want to let go the opportunity as well as don't want to do anything which is not advised by doctor.

Thanks guys,
Pawan

The ground reality is that it's absolutely difficult to get a new sponsors, almost all the recruiting agencies ask for PR
