I've been very quiet on the forum lately. It's been insane at home as we've been preparing everything for our move. Just a quick update: We fly out on the 18th of Feb and have still to finish renovating our house. Should all be done with about a week to spare... talk about leaving it close!Then there's the moving sale, the packing and all the small stuff I'm bound to forget...lol. I wanted to thank everyone for their help and great advice. We're really looking forward to starting our new life in Cyprus. Will keep in touch as we move and settle in. Hopefully we can also help others as much as we've been helped.

Once you get here there will be lots of little annoying things to deal with but you soon forget about them once you are settled.
Its always good to have someone who is new to Cyprus to give an account of their experience of the move as those of us who have lived here for a few years have either forgotten all the things that drove us mad at first or things have changed since we came so what we went through is not always relevant to today.
I am sure that your experiences will help others who are planning to move.
