Hello,

My family and I will be staying 4 1/2 months in France. We are resident of the US. I am actually French, my wife is US citizen got a LT visa (6 months) and my 2 kids will get their french passports soon (ages 13 and 11). Kids are going to be in College from September to January.
During the visa interview/process, my wife was never asked, nobody mentioned health insurance as a requirement - but we want to be well covered when in France if anything were to happen.
We won't be working in France.

I am looking for a travel/health insurance which could be appropriate for our case i.e. cover emergencies, hospitalizations, sickness etc... while in France - our US health insurance won't help much when we are there.

Anybody has experience and can recommend a good company or particular plan which could work for us?
Looking on the web, I am overwhelmed at this point...

Thanks!

I bought an Allianz One Trip Premier Travel plan for our visa. It was dirt cheap and covers emergency medical/dental up to 50k usd and 1 million emergency transport.
