Hi People! I Recently submitted Visa application but a query is still haunting me regarding ACS letter.. can someone advise on this please..

In my ACS letter (Received in 2021) for one of the overseas employment period ( no points claimed ) it shows systems engineer as a position.
However in my EOI and Visa the position I have given as "IT Analyst" as this is the latest position in the company during that period.

Will this create a problem with CO? There is no change in points or role or responsibilities. Its just a different position inside company.

Hi Everone,

I need some help.

I am lodging 190 applications. My spouse does not have functional English and also does not have a letter from the college or university. In this case, what should I do?

Please help me.

I believe what matters is your ACS assessment skill code. Is it software engineer 261313? if yes then company may call you consultant, Associate,Tech Lead, Analyst, Computing Architect or Engineer ( All role in My case) should not matter till when job descriptions are assessed as relevant to the job skill code.

Why don't you pursuade her to take PTE and score competent score. Otherwise, AUD 4995 is the charge you may have to pay additionally for not having English skill.

I am okay to pay the fee. just want to make sure that the fee is an option.

Hi all, questions about Medical and PCC:
1. I understand from this forum that Medical can only be commenced after application is lodged, giving you the HAP ID.
Given that it will take some time for appointment to be scheduled, completed and health outcome released, is medical required to be submitted within the 60-day visa application deadline?
2. Similar to question 1, while PCC does not require any "HAP ID" or ID to be generated and can be commenced anytime,
I've read in some threads that PCC will determine the Initial Date of Entry that'll be stated in the final grant.
i.e. if you do it sooner, it'll bring forward the initial date of Entry required to activate the visa.
Is this correct?
3. I read that some PCCs will take a long time to get the outcome (e.g. AFP PCC takes 8 weeks),
that means getting the outcome will take almost as long as or longer than the 60-day visa application deadline.
May I verify that we can lodge/submit visa application 1st without PCC as I've read from some threads? if PCC comes only after the 60 day allowed, does that mean I'm missing the 60-day deadline?

Hope someone can shed some light on this.
Thank you!

Ya it is software engineer role and ACS assessed it as suitable for other role position which I claimed points.

You can generate a HAPID immediately after you CREATE your application, i.e before even lodging. So, time it accordingly

Yes, it is correct. The Initial Entry date is the earliest of Medicals, PCC or grant date plus 1 year. You can seek a waiver if you have genuine reasons to believe that you cannot honour the same.

Yes, you can lodge without PCC, but mentioning that you have applied for it and then upload it whenever you receive it.

What if there is a delay is visa grant . Say after 11months from PCC - will initial entry date be within 1month?

Generally - Yes.
Sometimes CO asks for another PCC and/or Medicals before pushing the button if it has crossed 12 months since the previous one.

following from this issue,
does the 2 year living requirement have to be consecutive?
i.e. if the initial date of entry is too soon, are we allowed to enter Aus for just a short period (a few days, 1week) to activate it, then return to our home country then only return to aus again when we're ready for a longer stay?
I can't find any info anywhere whether it has to be consecutive 2 years.
Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I have put in my application on Nov 26 2022, and still waiting ever since. My application status still shows as Received since then. How long does it take for a CO to be assigned and is there anyone who have got their grant who applied in the Oct - Nov window?

Thanks

ANZCO code - 225113
EOI date - 20th Sept 2022
Received NSW pre-invite - 27th Nov’22
Received NSW invite - 28th Nov’22
PR 190 VISA applied - 29th Dec’22
submitted form 80, 1221, pcc with submission
Health checkup completed - 30th Dec’22

waiting game begins…what would be expected timelines to receive grant?
I applied my 190 visa app for the same code on 2 Dec 2022. Got the invites from both NSW and VIC but I chose VIC. Still waiting for the grant. Been seeing in a lot of forums that it's taking around 6-8 months for this code. But a few have also got the grants in a couple of months. Just a matter of luck now. All we can do is wait :)

Hello @karbaazakbar

I am just starting to start my visa journey under the marketing specialist code. Can you please guide me on how many points minimum are required and if off-shore has some chance in this code.

Thanks

Heyy! I had 95 points but I’ve seen forums where people have got invites with 90 points. I would suggest to get maximum points so you can get the invite quicker. I’m offshore too and they’ve been giving a lot of invites to offshore since last 6-7 months.

There is no information available, i.e. the time it takes for a CO to be assigned. Applications can be granted in a week and it could take several months. It is all very random. However, I have seen applicants from Oct-Nov timeframe receiving their grants in the first week of March.

Yes, applications lodged in Oct & Nov 22 are being processed now. I have seen in trackers where applicants were getting grants applied during Sep-Dec 2022. Hopefully @sangmen may either receive message from CO or probably a direct grant.

Is it true that we're given an additional 28 days for health check and that the health check is not necessary to fall within the 60-day application deadline (i.e. health check has nothing to do with the 60-day deadline)? and that the 60-day deadline is just for you to accept the invitation and lodge your application, & attach police check (if ready, if not ready, attach the police check acknowledgement slip)?
