Hi guys,

I am trying to understand the timeline of a 190 NSW visa process and is now turning to the experts here on the forum.

Is the following timeframe somewhat close to reality or have I misunderstood something? The example is purely hypothetical and does not reflect a current EOI.

Step 1 - 1st October 2017:
Lodging EOI in SkillSelect

Step 2 - 1st November 2017:
Getting NSW application invite

14 days to apply

Step 3 - 7th November 2017:
Lodging application to NSW

12 weeks NSW processing

Step 4 - 7th February 2018:
NSW application approved, 5 points awarded and invited to apply 190

60 days to apply for 190 on SkillSelect

Step 5 - 1st April 2018:
Lodging 190 visa application to DIBP

~7-8 months DIBP visa 190 application processing

Step 6 - ~November-December 2018:
Application approved, visa approved, time to travel.

Is this a realistic timeframe? Or are any of these steps not relevant for the state nomination? For example is both step 3 and 5 required?

Thanks!
