HI everyone
my brother lodged his 189 application on 11/03/15 but still the status shows Assesment in progress
he has not been allocated a case officer,if we look at the spread sheet people who applied on 18,/03 already got the grant
is it normal or something is wrong
Please advise we are really stressed

There are number of people who've applied in Jan/Feb and still waiting for a decesion.
11/03 is not even 2 months, if your status doesn't change in 90 days that is the time you should be worried.
