Hi,
We are hoping to move to Australia next year on a 176 visa and as part of the process,I have to do a vetasses interview. I am a qualified electrician for 10 years but have been working in a fairly specialised area for that time.I plan to be working in the same area when we move and have had some positive responses from companies over there.
What I'm wondering is,is the interview/test that I need to do with vetassess based on general electrical work or is it based on the work that you are doing here and will be doing in Australia? What exactly is involved in the test?
Any other advice or information about this would be great,
Cheers.

P.S. One of the companies I spoke with said they would be paying around
70-75k basic. How does that sound? Will have 3 young kids with us.

Cheers again !
