Have you already applied for your passport? You can go ahead and apply but the processing time for 176 visa is only 4 weeks so in all probability you are gonna get a CO in 4 weeks and then they are gonna ask for the passport and PCC...
I guess now a days it takes only a few weeks for the passport to arrive.
I think that you can add your child's name at a later stage...not sure though..will check it out and let you know in a few days

I have got SS from wa but not able to apply for 176 as passport for my 6 week old child is not yet issued.

Is there a possibility to apply with child's passport under applied category or can I add child name later on

I have already applied but due to process changes in passport office it's getting delayed.

While filling online application for 176 it doesnot allow to proceed if we dont enter passport of the migrating dependent.
