G'day,

I am just about to apply for state sponsorship (Nortrhern Territory) but have relatives in QLD that are willing to sponsor me. My question is do I get any points for family sponsorship (I require at least the 10 points that the state sponsorship would bring)... I DO NOT WANT TO APPLY FOR THE REGIONAL VISA EVEN IF I DO GET 25 POINTS...

No, there are no extra points for relative sponsorship.

Thanks Dolly. Pity though, anyway life goes on and the up side is that the state sponsored visas should be finalised before family sponsored anyway!
