Hope you are all doing great! And sorry for the lengthy post. I need some advice from experts here.
For my ACS application, I needed to get my documents certified as true copies here in North Carolina, USA. I checked with the notary here and they are saying they only do a TRUE COPY...
Can someone share a scanned document, in full or partial, which shows how the stamp of "Certified true copy" looks like.
I need it to show to the notary officer for reference and better understanding of ACS's expectation.
Or else, even better, can someone share the contact of notary officer in...
As I am living in USA, I got all employee reference as E-mail from ex-employers. When I take print out and asked for notary, they gave me notary with self declaration as in picture. I am wondering whether it is acceptable?
If I submit with this, what are the chances of approval? Whether acs...
Ok, at the risk of offending Spain-lovers I wanted to ask an honest question about people's experiences of Spain. I was warned a few years ago by someone I didn't particularly like or trust that "Spain is full of thieves". As a result I ignored the advice I was given and bought a bit of land...
I have finally kept all my Education and Work Experience documents ready for submitting them to ACS for Skills Assessment.
The documents need to be attested. In India, I should approach a Notary for attestation of each of these individual documents, right?

I am applying for a vistor's visa in France. I am living with a host family (I don't have a deed/rent), so I was planning on having the family sign a note saying that they are hosting me for the Proof of Accommodation section of the application. Does this need to be notarized? I am in...
I am planning to apply for 189 and 190 visa category. I am in process of getting my work reference letters done through my Managers, the problem I am facing is that I have 3 years of work experience in China, although I am trying to find out how to get notary done there it would be...
So, we moved to the UK from the US and are selling our US house (at a huge loss too). Apparently we can do the settlement from the UK, but the settlement agent is requiring us to have the documents notarized *at the American embassy* (or consulate) -- a British notary apparently won't do.
I followed below procedure and got all my docs notary signature.
1. Clear Color print of all docs.
2. Each copy(paper) contain notary seal(advocate) and below content.
"CERTIFY THAT THIS IS A XEROX TRUE COPY"
and going to scan this as PDF and upload in ACS...
I am planning on moving to Italy and have been doing research online, there are still quite a bit of questions which I am confused about. I hope some of you can help.

I believe I can apply for my Codice Fiscale BEFORE I even board the...
I certify my docs from a Notary(Lahore, Pakistan) but he did not mention his contact details(i.e Phone number) except designation.
Is it good enough for ACS without Notary contact details?
New words in ACS documents to be certified “Certified True Copy of the Original”
I was just going through new ACS guidelines, Not sure which month it was updated because it says 2013, I checked with one guy and he was of the opinion this words were not there previously...
I've prepared all the paperwork for submission to the ACS for my skills assessment, but here in California, the process for certified copies involves filling out an accompanying form and stamping/signing that rather than the copy itself. Given that the instructions for the copies are...
