Hello, new to this forum, I moved to upper Gironde almost two years ago and really like the area. It is rural and yet about 30 minutes from Bordeaux. Looking for golf partners to play in the many local golf courses of Gironde and Charente Maritime.
I've just landed in Dubai and was wondering if someone would be also interested in taking golf lessons?
I just did my green card but haven't played much since then (August) so if you're a total beginner it's ok with me.
Preferable times are either evenings on weekdays or weekends.
I am interested to know of anyone who lives around the Moraira area and plays golf? Where do you play and what does it cost for membership per year and are what restrictions are there on the membership?
Considering buying a house in the Moraira area next year in preparation for retirement...
I know of a few golf societies on the Costa del Sol (playing golf mostly between Gibraltar and Malaga). For example: GITS, GolfTheCosta (Seva), Golfbuddies, Clubhouse, Andalucian Nomads. Plus some pubs organise outings: Harmons, Hogans Retreat, etc. If any one has other names and the courses...
Looking to take on golf and was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and willing to team up to take up classes + play?
I took a few classes last year but couldn't continue due to work related travel. Do not think that my colleagues would have the patience to trundle along with me. and...

Anyone got any ideas...
Hey I have just moved to Dubai,
I am +1 handicap golfer - I'm keen to play golf, enter comps and even play for teams.
Not sure I will be able to afford memberships to any of these clubs as the memberships in the UK are far cheaper.
Anyone here play golf? anyone got any advice?
I am from the larnaca area and I am looking for fellow golfers who would like to play on the west of the Island and share petrol costs.
I would be prepared to run a small golf society who could play every 1 or 2 months.
Is anyone interested please?
We are moving to Dubai in January and, having spent a month at Arabian Ranches a couple of years ago, I really liked it and think I would enjoy living there. What I particularly liked was the lovely Spanish Colonial style Clubhouse and the Ranches Restaurant with its terrace overlooking the golf...
Have been to Thailand many times but never for a golf vacation, so just want to get any recommendation from those who have done similar trips or just local experience / recommendations...

Greetings, I'm new to Dubai and was wondering if anyone would be interested in setting up a foursome for golf on a regular basis or if you have room in your group and need another player, let me know.
