Default Query Regarding B2 Visa

Good morning,

I am currently living in Australia, on a temporary visa with almost 10 months validity left in the visa. I wish to apply for the B2 tourist visa, so do I need to show any evidence of my return to the consulate. I am currently doing a casual job, so I can't ask them for a letter of vacation or something like that, although I am enrolled in a Professional Year(10 months) course for which I do have the certificate of enrollment. Will this be suffice?

Thank you.

So you are not eligible for the VWP?

I don't hold an Australian Passport, just the Pakistani one.
